Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT)

Help at Your Fingertips

What kinds of things are you stressing out about? What unresolved issues in your life are contributing to your negative feelings? Wouldn't it be nice if you had a powerful tool to use at any time in order to help yourself feel better?

Emotional Freedom Techniques, or EFT, is that tool.

EFT is essentially fingertip tapping on specific acupuncture points while focusing on specific thoughts. It has been called an emotional version of acupuncture because it addresses the cause of emotional issues an unbalanced energy system. When administered properly, EFT can greatly reduce the length of time it takes to resolve your problem.

Developed by Gary Craig, a Stanford engineer, EFT is rapidly becoming known all over the world as a major energy-based remedy for mental, emotional, and physical imbalances. Craig reports that EFT "often works when nothing else will."

The Five "E's"

I describe EFT with five words: effective, efficient, elegant, empowering and enlightening.

EFT is effective because it works for you. In fact, it works better than any other protocol I have come across in my 20 years of using energy-based therapies.

EFT is efficient because it works for you much faster than traditional methods for balancing the emotions and the body.

EFT is elegant because it gently peels away layers of your problem until you get to the core. When used properly, EFT does not retraumatize you.

EFT is empowering because, once you learn it, you can use it on your own, at any time, with a good deal of success, even if you are a newcomer to the procedure. The EFT procedure is very easy to learn, and easy to remember.

EFT is enlightening because it creates shifts in your perception that allow you to make choices in thought and action -- that support your life and move you in the direction of the changes you desire. You begin to see connections which may have previously been invisible, for example, how habitual thoughts can contribute to a physical problem.

EFT for Positive Change

I know of no better tool than EFT to initiate and sustain positive change, and therefore it is the foundation of my practice. Since I specialize in infidelity trauma, childhood trauma, adult trauma and physical challenges, EFT is the perfect intervention that will help you let go of the past, resolve emotional baggage, bring your body into balance, and move forward with a sense of freedom and peace.

DISCLAIMER:
While EFT has produced remarkable clinical results and is rapidly gaining in scientific support, it must still be considered to be in the experimental state and thus practitioners and the public must take complete responsibility for their use of it. The information on this website and the use of EFT and other energy-based therapies is not intended as medical or psychological advice, diagnosis or treatment and is not intended as a substitute for conventional medical interventions. You are encouraged to talk to a licensed health care professional about what treatments are best for you. Although there is no guarantee that you will have the noteworthy results that are consistently reported with EFT, it is entirely possible that, at the very least, you will be motivated and inspired toward growth of consciousness and increased light-heartedness with regard to your own healing journey.
